Matthew Stafford has been one of the best fantasy quarterbacks in the NFL, and to start off the 2016 NFL season, something is different in Detroit. Megatron has retired, and Stafford’s fantasy value has fallen underwater. Despite the odds, I expect Stafford to still perform well in fantasy. This week Stafford and the Lions play against the Indianapolis Colts, who have the most chaotic secondary in the NFL. Stafford is worth adding to your fantasy team.
Isaiah Crowell said yesterday, that his goal is to rush for over 1000 yards. He is the starting running back in Cleveland, and has a laughable matchup this week against the Philadelphia Eagles defense, that flat-out cannot defend the run. If he is on your waiver-wire, add him to your team NOW, before someone else does! Also remeber that Crowell is only 23, and has fresh legs.
San Francisco 49ers
Torrey Smith is a young speedster that has put up solid fantasy numbers in his past. This week, Torrey Smith gets a favorable fantasy matchup against the L.A. Rams, who don’t have a very good secondary coming into the 2016 NFL season. Torrey Smith is worth picking up as a WR3 or a player to stash on your bench.
