Derek Carr doesn’t get enough credit for the great things that he’s done. Last week against the New Orleans Saints he scored over 20 fantasy points, and showed off his elite arm strength and accuracy, plus he and Amari Cooper were playing with as much chemistry as peanut butter and jelly. This week he gets a good matchup against the loose Falcons defense. Their tackling is embarrassing!
New England Patriots
Blount is clearly the best running back on the Patriots roster, and this week he gets a fantastic matchup against the flukey, inconsistent Dolphins defense. I expect Blount to matchup his performance from last week, where he scored 10 fantasy points. Trust me, he’s worth a roster spot, even only for a couple of weeks.
San Diego Chargers
Williams is probably the most unknown player on the Chargers roster… until now. He showed off great route running and speed last week against Kansas City, and I expect to see growth from him this week against the Jaguars. If you struggled at drafting wide receivers, he might be worth an add.
Will Fuller immediately broke onto the scene with a magnificent week one performance. If you drafted him in the late rounds, you have a speed threat that has a great relationship already, with Brock Osweiler. If you didn’t draft him, and he’s on your waiver wire, pick him up before somebody else does. He looked like a ROTY candidate in week one.
